I happened to come across this site for Rock'n'Rose jewelery. It's absolutely amazing- its fun, unique, has a vintage feel, and most importantly, it won't make you go broke! I figured I'd post the stuff I want to get (as soon as money magically appears into my account.)

Get Smart
One of my favorite actresses is Anne Hathaway. Not only is she classily beautiful but she's intelligent and isn't afraid to let anyone know it. She's gracing the cover of W Magazine this month and gives a really candid interview which you can read here. How great is the photoshoot?

I haven't forgotten about this thing!
I haven't posted in awhile, but now that I am done with my internship and am back into the routine of having classes/ more free time, I do want to start posting again regularly! For now, I figure I'd just post some items I recently bought, mostly because I felt they would be staples for the fall!
Plaid shirt from H&M, £14.99. Plaid is one of the hottest looks for this Autumn/Winter.
Black and brown shirt from Zara, £9! Usually I am skeptical about combining black and brown but I think this shirt makes it work.
I need to stop shopping before I officially go broke. Note to self: get a job!

After being a fashion intern, I totally agree with this quote.
"Ask any old fashion assistant, those lowly magazine trolls who work 12-hour days for twenty-something thousand dollars a year, about the ethics associated with accidentally forgetting to return a sample and accidentally taking it home with them, and most will tell you it's mere income augmentation." -- Derek Blasberg's vocab lesson on Style.com.

These Vegetables are Mundane
I sort of abandoned this thing for awhile, but I am back now and dedicated to updating with things that are worthwhile! I'm hoping I can get a new camera soon so I am able to post my pictures and things as well. Anyways, today the spotlight is on the fabulous Russell Brand!
You guys might be familiar with Russell because he starred in Judd Apatow's Forgetting Sarah Marshall as the Brit rocker Aldous Snow. When he's not taking Hollywood by storm, he's making people laugh hysterically on his show, entitled "Ponderland." I'm going to a pre-Ponderland warm-up gig tomorrow and I am beyond excited, I'm hoping to meet him! I highly suggest you guys youtube him and see his material- its so fast-paced and witty! I'll try to post pictures this weekend of the gig!

Marc Jacobs for Gay pride
This t-shirt, entitled "Rebel Pride", has just been added by Marc Jacobs in honor of Gay Pride Week. Designed by Jon Lynch, the t-shirt features the Confederate flag overlapped by the Gay Pride rainbow. Marc Jacobs is one of my favorite designers and I think its great that he's featuring a shirt that displays Gay Pride, I don't necessarily think it was appropriate to use the Confederate Flag. Sure, its a mixture of contradictory symbols but the Confederate Flag is also an offensive symbol, linked to years of oppression and hatred. To me, it symbolizes the United States' dark past, and that is not something I think should be linked with Gay Pride Week, which is about celebrating the freedom to be gay and knocking down stereotypes. I get where Marc's tongue-in-cheek reference is coming from, but I don't think it works! I still think Marc is fabulous, I just don't think this shirt is! What do you guys think?

People have been telling me for years now – ‘Casey’s cooler than you,’ ‘Casey’s a better actor than you! I’ve always known about the acting thing – I mean come on, I peaked in Good Will Hunting – but I would just laugh in people’s faces when they said he was cooler. He’s so scrawny, and kinda funny looking. But the more I see these movies, the more I realize… He’s sneaky cool!”- Ben Affleck
I'm personally a HUGE fan of both Ben and Casey, and I highly recommend watching "Gone Baby Gone." It's Ben's stunning directorial debut with Casey in the lead.
